Elementary: Breakfast will NOT be served. Lunch WILL be served.
Pre-K AM
8:15 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. Boys report with one parent only for orientation
9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. Girls report with one parent only for orientation
Pre-K PM
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Boys report with one parent only for orientation
1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Girls report with one parent only for orientation
Kindergarten
8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Boys report with one parent only for orientation
12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Girls report with one parent only for orientation
Please note: In the event that a Pre-K or K parent cannot make it to their assigned session, schools will make the appropriate scheduling accommodations. Parents of non-binary students may select the session that is most appropriate for their child.
Grades 1 to 4
8:05 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. (regular full-day)
Middle School: Please note that no breakfast or lunch will be served on the first day of school except for Special Education low-incidence students. ALL students will be served breakfast and lunch on Tuesday, August 27th.
Grades 5 and 6
AM only: 8:25-11:25 am
*Special Education Self-Contained classes report for the full day from 8:25 am - 3:25 pm
Grades 7 and 8
PM only: 12:25- 3:25 pm

Reading High School Main Campus

There will be no CTC on the first day of school. CTC for Reading High School students will start on Tuesday, August 27th.
First Day of School Schedule for RHS:
Doors will open at 7:10 a.m. for student arrival.
12th Grade Students: 7:30 am - 8:55 am, enter through the Castle Steps
11th Grade Students: 7:30 am - 8:55 am, enter through the Geigle Gym
11th & 12th-grade bus students will report to their bus stops at the regular time. See the transportation link below to find your regular bus route and time.
10th Grade Students: 9:00 am - 10:45 am, enter through the Geigle Gym
10th-grade bus students will report to their bus stops 2 hours later than their regular time. See the transportation link below to find your regular bus route and time.
9th Grade Students: 11:15 am - 2:10 pm, enter through the Castle Steps
9th-grade bus students will report to their bus stops 4 hours later than their regular time. See the transportation link below to find your regular bus route and time.
*Special Education low-incidence students will report for a regular full day from 7:30 am - 2:40 pm.

All students will be issued a school picture ID. Students are required to have it on them at all times.
Students should bring their school-issued Chromebooks (and chargers) if they have one.

Students will report for a full day from 7:30 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. Doors will open at 7:10 a.m.
AMCTC students should report in front of the Geigle Gym for transportation.

Red Knight Accelerated Academy
Students attending RKAA City Line, RKAA Glenside, and RKAA Thomas Ford will have a regular full day on Monday, August 26th. Breakfast and lunch will be served to all students.
All students will report from 9:20 a.m. - 4:05 p.m.
CTC for RKAA students will begin on Tuesday, August 27th.
