  • Stand U-Knighted with мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø! Participate in our 2024 United Way Campaign from August 19 through November 8, 2024.

    Our district goal is:

    Goal
    To raise $53,000 for United Way of Berks County and local organizations.

    15 percent
    To have 15 percent -- or approximately 300 -- of our district employees contribute. Every $1 counts! 

    24 current contributors increase their giving

    To have 24 of our current United Way contributors increase their giving by at least $1. 

    Campaign Timeline
    Begins Tuesday, August 19, 2024
    Ends Friday, November 8, 2024

    United Way of Berks will send an e-pledge form to your district email starting on August 19, 2024. The email will be delivered from “Your United Way Committee.” If you do not receive an e-pledge form, you can either complete/submit a paper pledge form and mail it interoffice to the Superintendent's Office or contact Leah Fuoco at fuocol@readingsd.org. Paper pledge forms are available in the main office of each building.


    Early Bird Week 
    Week of August 19-August 23, 2024
    Donate at least $15 from Monday, August 19 through Friday, August 23, 2024, via e-pledge or paper pledge form, and you'll be entered into a raffle to win a day off with pay. 

    Note: Our popular Day Off With Pay raffle will be available only during our Early Bird Week this year, so donate today! 

    Early Bird Week donors will also be entered to win мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø swag, including Red Knight stickers, pens, stress balls, lanyards and pop sockets as an extra incentive!

Paper Pledge Forms

  • United Way paper pledge forms are available in the main offices at our schools for staff members who do not have access to district e-mail or who did not receive an electronic pledge form. If you are an employee without an e-mail address but you are interested in donating to this year's мÓÆÂÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø United Way Campaign, please contact your direct supervisor or your building's main office staff. Completed forms should be returned inter-office mail to the Superintendent's Office in the Administration Building by November 8, 2024.

  • United Way of Berks County serves tens of thousands of Berks Countians from all over our community each year, including our staff members, students and residents in Reading.  Last year, more than 100,000 local children, families and seniors benefited from more than 50 United Way funded programs.
